Location: Santa Rosa, CA and surrounding areas
Service Focus: Dell Laptop and Printer Repair
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Field Service Technician to support on-site service calls in the Santa Rosa, CA and surrounding areas. The primary focus will be Dell laptop diagnostics, repair, and printer servicing.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hardware diagnostics, upgrades, and repairs on Dell laptops
- Troubleshoot and repair printers (various models)
- Replace components such as hard drives, SSDs, RAM, motherboards, keyboards, screens, and power supplies
- Perform system testing after repairs to ensure full functionality
- Follow manufacturer service manuals and technical documentation
- Maintain proper documentation for each completed ticket (including notes, serial numbers, and photos when required)
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Complete assigned tickets within agreed timeframes while maintaining high service quality
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in laptop and printer repair (Dell experience preferred)
- Strong hardware troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to read and follow service manuals
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Must have basic toolkits and a smartphone with internet access
