I’m working with a leading global biopharma company seeking an Associate Director, Consumer Marketing to support a new product launch and help build out a growing consumer marketing capability. This role will focus on developing and executing DTC campaigns that drive patient awareness, engagement, and adherence across both in-office and digital channels, with strong visibility across the organization and the opportunity to support multiple indications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute patient-centric, DTC marketing campaigns across branded and unbranded channels
- Create core patient education and support materials (brochures, videos, HCP discussion guides, in-office assets, etc.)
- Ensure alignment between consumer campaigns, brand strategy, and HCP marketing initiatives
- Support development and execution of TV/CTV and digital media campaigns in partnership with omnichannel teams
- Identify key patient journey moments and barriers to inform content and engagement strategies
- Develop brand guidelines and claims documentation to ensure consistency across all channels
- Incorporate patient insights from advocacy groups, advisory boards, and market research into campaign development
- Partner with Insights & Analytics to evaluate performance and optimize campaigns based on data, ROI, and market feedback
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (MBA/MS preferred)
- 5 years of consumer marketing experience, including 3 years in pharma or biotech
- Strong experience in consumer marketing strategy, campaign planning, and agency management
- Exposure to media planning (digital and ideally TV/CTV)
- Proven experience leading cross-functional and agency teams in a matrixed environment
- Strong communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced, launch-oriented environment
- Data-driven mindset with ability to translate insights into actionable marketing strategies
- Demonstrated ability to influence, align, and drive consensus across senior stakeholders
Hybrid role based near Boston with compensation of $180K–$220K base, 22% bonus, and equity.
