What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Assistant position at Barrington Coffee Roasting Company?
We are looking for assistance in production operations Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 9-4pm. Our product is roasted and packaged to order. We value initiative, a sense of humor, and a command of basic math. We are looking for someone who thrives and finds satisfaction in completing a daily routine. If you were good at the games "Memory" and "One of These Things is Not Like The Other", we want to talk to you!
Our team is responsible for duties including but not limited to:
-Ensuring production requirements are met: labeling, packaging, order fulfillment and shipping duties.
-Responsible for maintaining appearance, cleanliness and organization of the production space.
-Receiving, Stocking and Inventory of production shelves as needed.
-Ability to take direction with respect to all aspects of accomplishing the daily production goals.
-Ability to proactively problem solve and correct inaccuracy.
Specific Skills:
-Basic Math
-Ability to regularly lift up to 50lbs
Our environment can be loud and experiences temperature fluctuations throughout the production day. However, often you pick the music and the great thing about coffee is that you can drink it hot or on ice!
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
