Responsibilities: Identify mobile equipment defects and set priorities on opportunities for reliability improvement by mining information using reliability databases and inputs from various sources. Provide visible felt leadership during interaction with other team members and as a salaried staff representative in support of and demonstrating the NGM - DNA (Core Values) Demonstrate Teamwork, Interpersonal Skills, Communication with Stakeholders and other skills and behaviors important to how results are achieved in the surface mine maintenance environment at site. Implement various operational and maintenance alternatives to leverage cost-savings effectively managing forecasted and budgeted expenditures Statistically analyze equipment and performance to assess reliability, maintainability, and availability Provide training and facilitation on root cause failure analysis (RCA), failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA), and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) with maintenance and operations personnel Develop Nevada Gold Mines’ Maintenance Procedures, Standards and Specifications focused on sustaining a reliability-culture Cultivate productive partnerships with key vendors/OEM’s that drive improvement in equipment Maintain and validate downtime reporting databases and KPI’s Identify, scope and evaluate reliability improvement projects Proficiently utilize maintenance operating system (S4-HANA, SAP) to record and report out on maintenance activity in a continuous improvement strategy Drive continuous improvement in the maintenance division and help foster the culture to ensure its longevity Ensure the sustainability of the Condition Monitoring techniques that are to be implemented Perform other duties as assigned.
