Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain analytical applications, tools, and utilities to support geoscientific analysis, querying, and reporting.
- Administer geological databases for the LATAM Exploration VP, including installation, configuration, preventive maintenance, system updates, and third-party integrations.
- Ensure data integrity, QA/QC compliance, security, and governance through audits, validation, and migration of historical geoscientific data.
- Manage GIS-based geoscientific information using ESRI technologies to support spatial analysis, mapping, and visualization.
- Conduct geoscientific analysis, research, mapping, and interpretation in support of exploration and mining objectives.
- Design, manage, and continuously improve exploration technology platforms and geoinformation systems, ensuring interoperability and effective data exchange.
- Build and maintain 3D geological models and design and execute drill programs, including RC and core logging.
- Train and support users in geological and geospatial data entry, analysis, and consumption.
- Identify and implement system and process improvements aligned with exploration strategy.
- Manage work plans, budgets, and reporting, delivering projects on time, on budget, and with minimal supervision.
- Communicate key findings and significant events to senior management.
- Perform other duties as required.
