Carlin - Advanced Helper (Tech 3 or Higher), Surface Maintenance

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Advanced Helper (Tech 3 or higher) in our Carlin Surface Maintenance department.

Responsibilities And Qualifications

• Works as a team member.
• Actively pursues development of self and others.
• Preventative Maintenance - Change oil in all compartments, Grease the machines, Install filters.
• Equipment Operation - Operate forklifts, ** Operate overhead cranes - Identify and understand crane control, Verify capacity of equipment used to make the pick, Inspect audible and visual alarms, Inspect area of actual pick, Obtain proper rigging for lift, Select proper picking points, Proper attachment of rigging, Use a tag line if needed, Use proper controls for lift, Maintain proper positioning during pick, Inspect, clean and return crane control to storage area.
• Computer/Manuals - Be able to identify correct parts in parts book, Be able to read and understand service manual, Have basic Ellipse skills, building & closing W/Os.
• Works effectively with other crews.
• Works effectively with other departments.
• Demonstrate safe and environmentally sound work practices.
• Respects others' work styles and ideas.
• Hydraulic - Change pumps.
