The Barren River District Health Department is seeking a PRN Dental Assistant to work with the dental team to assist them in providing primary preventative dental services in both the schools and the community settings utilizing the mobile dental units in those settings.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the hygienists in facilitating the student/patient from the registration process to the actual receipt of services.
- Assist in the set up and tear down of the "mobile equipment" within the school setting
- Help with inventorying supplies and sanitization of equipment
- Assist with billing and documentation
- Other duties are also as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Maintain certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Travel will be required to other counties as needed after orientation and training is complete.
The minimum hourly rate is $14.89.
Job Type: Part-time
Base Pay: From $14.89 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 22 per week
