Play Lounge Team Member Job Description:
At barre3, it is our goal to provide a warm, welcoming, and joyful experience to all of our clients, which includes creating a safe and inviting space for our client’s children to be throughout class times. As a play lounge team member, you are the person parents are trusting with their child(ren) when coming to the studio. Because of this, your job is to help create a positive atmosphere for every parent that walks through our doors.
As a play lounge team member your job will include, but is not limited to, the following:
-Create a fun and safe space for all children within the studio.
-Be clocked in and ready to go at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the Play Lounge class time.
-Greet all parents and children as they walk in warmly and with excitement to see them, introducing yourself to all new clients with children.
-Throughout the duration of each barre3 class, you are responsible for the safety and wellbeing of all children within the play lounge. This includes engaging, playing, and assisting all children in the play lounge based on their individual needs.
-Communicate with parents and Studio Manager for any rules and regulations that are broken within the play lounge, or any injuries/issues that arise in order to keep the play lounge a safe space. After the occurrence fill out this and share it with the studio manager.
-Assist each child in gathering their belongings and reuniting with their parent(s), when each barre3 class ends.
-Clean and organize the play lounge area according to cleanliness procedures after each play lounge session.
-Support Front Desk Team
