What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Coordinator position at Barranco Enterprises, Inc.?
Keep the heartbeat of Operations steady.
At Barranco, great projects don't run on luck — they run on coordination. We're looking for an Operations Coordinator to be the communication and scheduling hub that keeps every project, technician, and department moving as one.
If you're the person who naturally brings order to chaos, who loves solving logistics puzzles, and who takes pride in making sure the right people have the right information at the right time — keep reading.
What You'll Own
Scheduling & Dispatch
You'll maintain the master schedule for every active project, technician, and assignment. You'll coordinate field deployment — travel, lodging, and crew rotations — so every technician knows where they're going, when, and what's expected. When schedules shift, you'll track the change and get the word out fast.
Operational Support
You'll lift the non-core load off our Project Managers — handling data entry, mHelpDesk updates, Procore logs, and daily job tracking. You'll keep job set-up clean and on time, maintain resource boards and labor forecasts, and partner with Procurement so materials are ready when the crews are.
Communication & Coordination
You'll be the central switchboard for Operations — bridging PMs, Field, Procurement, and Accounting. You'll translate information so every group gets exactly what they need, in the format they need it. You'll join weekly ops meetings with current project status and escalate anything that could affect schedule, budget, or customer satisfaction.
What You Bring
- 3–7 years in construction administration, field coordination, or service dispatch (construction, mechanical, or facilities service industries preferred)
- Strong organizational and digital skills — Excel, Procore, mHelpDesk, or similar
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with a bias toward clarity and follow-through
- Calm under pressure; energized by managing many moving parts
- Sharp attention to detail and a natural instinct for system and order
- Service-oriented and collaborative — part of the team, never above it
Where This Role Can Take You
This is a growth platform, not a dead end. Strong performers have a clear path toward Project Coordinator / Junior Project Manager or Operations Systems Specialist, depending on where your strengths shine.
