Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of fresh juices, smoothies, and specialty beverages using high-quality ingredients and equipment
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to promote products and enhance their experience
- Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and basic math calculations for sales and change accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by following proper food handling and preparation procedures
- Assist in food service activities including food prep, serving snacks or light bites, and ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, restocking as needed to ensure smooth café operations
Experience
- Prior barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques to ensure compliance with health regulations
