Role Description
This is a hybrid role for a Mental Health Therapist, based in Miami, FL, with the flexibility to work some days remotely. The therapist will provide individual, family, or group therapy, develop tailored treatment plans, and offer case management services to clients. Responsibilities also include conducting assessments, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care. The role focuses on fostering mental wellness and supporting clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Treatment Planning and delivery of therapy services
- Experience in Social Work and understanding of community-based support systems
- Skills in Case Management, including coordinating care and resources for clients
- Expertise in Mental Health counseling and strategies for effective therapeutic work
- Knowledge and practice in Family Therapy and counseling individuals across diverse backgrounds
- Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, with licensure in the state of Florida
- Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Prior experience working with Veterans, LGBTQ community, or First Responders is a plus
