Position Overview:
We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, exceptional therapeutic skills, and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide individual, couples, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and holistic client care.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in the field of mental health and integrate new techniques into practice.
- Demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity in working with a diverse client population.
- Attend regular supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills.
- Uphold ethical standards and adhere to all relevant licensing requirements.
- Maintain a minimum of 15 clinical hours per week, depending on caseload availability and scheduling.
Qualifications:
- Active and current license as a Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or equivalent) in Florida.
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficient in maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.
- Available for evening in-person sessions on Wednesdays through Fridays.
- Virtual sessions are available and subject to clinician availability and scheduling needs.
