Summary
Arborists at Barnes Nursery Inc. are responsible for providing tree care services that improve health and appearance of customer’s properties.
This is a contract/temporary position with Barnes Nursery Inc. for a project in the City of Cleveland with potential opportunity for full time employment at Barnes to follow. Arborist must be willing to commute to Cleveland every day.
Responsibilities
- Identify the condition of trees and shrubs
- Recommend next steps to improve the condition of trees and shrubs
- Measure and assess trees and shrubs
- Advise customers on how to protect trees in specific environments
- Inform customers on how to properly care for and maintain trees and shrubs
- Record services performed
- Travel to Cleveland daily
Qualifications
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to operate tree care equipment
- MUST be a Certified Arborist
- Must have a valid drivers license
