Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Tulsa, OK, for a Construction Estimator. The Construction Estimator will prepare cost estimates, evaluate project requirements, and develop accurate budgets. Responsibilities include analyzing project plans, conducting site visits, collaborating with project managers and stakeholders, and preparing detailed reports. The individual will also be responsible for obtaining vendor and subcontractor pricing, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, and identifying value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in estimating, cost analysis, and project budgeting
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, construction plans, and specifications
- Strong communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry practices
- Proficiency with relevant software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, or estimation tools
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate with project teams and stakeholders
- Previous experience in a similar construction estimation role is an asset
