Marina Yard Helper
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and motivated Marina Yard Helper to join our team. This is a hands-on position supporting the daily operations of our marina and boatyard.
This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has basic mechanical ability, and is interested in gaining hands-on experience in the marine industry. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, follows directions, works safely, and is willing to learn new skills.
Responsibilities
- Follow safety protocols by properly using personal protective equipment (PPE) during all tasks and heavy lifting activities
- Paint Bottoms
- Clean Boats
- Moving Cement Blocks & Stands
- Cleaning the Shop
- Move Boats
- Operate Heavy Equipment and Machinery
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a marina, boatyard, preferred but not required.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and move heavy materials and equipment.
- Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a strong work ethic.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow directions and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license required.
