We are seeking a passionate and experienced Grooming Salon Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional pet grooming and bathing services. As the Grooming Salon Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality standards, and foster a welcoming environment for both pets and employees. Your leadership will be essential in training staff, managing schedule and assuring that all dogs baths/grooms are finished in a timely manner all while making sure the integrity of each bath and groom is superb, and maintaining the salon's reputation for excellence in pet care.Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily grooming operations to ensure efficiency and quality service.
- Train and mentor grooming staff on best practices in pet grooming techniques and customer service.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety within the salon.
- Schedule appointments and manage the grooming calendar to optimize workflow.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and care.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations related to animal care.
- Assist with grooming services as needed, including bathing, trimming, and styling pets.
- Manage inventory of grooming supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and professional growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a pet care or grooming environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of animal handling, care, and behavior.
- Experience in kennel management or as a veterinary assistant is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for handling larger breeds or equipment.
- Familiarity with dog training techniques is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
