Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess the skills necessary to provide high-quality bathing and grooming services for pets. As a Pet Bather, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our furry clients leave looking and feeling their best. This position requires a love for animals, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Bathe and groom pets according to established standards and protocols.

• Ensure the safety and comfort of animals during the bathing process.
• Handle pets with care, employing proper animal restraint techniques as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in the bathing area, including washing towels, cleaning equipment, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Monitor pets for any signs of health issues or discomfort during grooming sessions.
• Assist in drying and brushing pets after baths to achieve desired results.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pet's grooming needs and any observations made during the bathing process.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a positive experience for both pets and their owners.

Requirements

• Previous experience in animal care or handling is preferred, including roles such as kennel assistant, veterinary assistant, or veterinary technician.
• Strong knowledge of pet grooming techniques and animal behavior is advantageous.
• Ability to handle various breeds of dogs and other animals with confidence.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with pet owners and team members effectively.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift pets as needed.
• A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being is essential.
• Certification in pet grooming or related fields is a plus but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per hour
