Job Description
We are looking for a full or part time Kennel Technician to join our team. The Kennel Technician will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our clients and their pets. Kennel Technicians should be well-organized and patient to work with dogs. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling animals of all sizes and temperaments. Cleaning and dog safety are our #1 priority.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to clients by providing care for their pets
- Clean kennels, cages, and equipment in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean environment for animals and customers
- Maintain a high standard of care towards all animals in the care of the company
- Adhere to all health and safety standards for animals in the care of the company
- Maintain a high level of professionalism towards all employees, customers, clients, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
Experience:
Kennel Technicians who have experience working with animals should have:
- Knowledge of how to properly care for animals (e.g. feeding, cleaning, medication administration)
- Knowledge of animal behavior (in-house training program will be provided)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
