Job Summary:
As employee of Barker Management Incorporated (“Company”), the authorized property management agent for various developments, the Assistant Regional Manager is responsible for the oversight and coordination for all data required to maintain current software portals for each of the developments assigned to the Assistant Regional Manager. The Assistant Regional Manager shall monitor all software portals to ensure data is accurate and up to data. The Assistant Regional Manager is responsible for directing the manager and other staff to ensure data is current and accurate. Should there be issues with the data or staff the Assistant Regional Manager shall inform Regional Manager, and if necessary Operations Manager and/or Human Resources. The Assistant Regional Manager shall ensure the lease up process is proceeding within the timeline required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitors One Site, BI, Financial Reports, Ops Technology, RP Compliance and other software portals for each site to ensure information is accurate and current.
- Shall provide guidance and support to on-site staff to ensure they are able to update required data daily.
- Shall monitor lease up progress and data to ensure assigned lease ups are progressing timely.
- Evaluates and standardizes procedures to improve the efficiency of subordinates in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for coaching, mentoring, and training the Company employees for each assigned development.
- Promotes and maintains harmony and team attitude among the development staff.
- Prepares and disseminates required reports to owners and investors in a timely and accurate manner.
- Responsible for evaluating and discussing the job performance of each and every development employee from the data accuracy perspective with the Regional Manager and Human Resources.
- Provides the President, the Operations Manager with a status on vacancies, receivables, recertifications, legal issues, staffing issues, and any other significant issues pertaining to each assigned development.
- Have a detailed understanding of accounting & management software.
- Recertifications. Checks on the status of recertifications to ensure that recertification notices are generated in realpage, are completed in a timely manner and is reflected in One Site software portal.

Position Requisites (Education and/or Experience and Skills):
- 4 years management or related experience
- High School Diploma
- Above average computer skills using MS Word and MS Excel
- Above average organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:
- Working environment is indoors, reasonably clean, well-lighted, and ventilated
- Generally little or no probability of injury or health impairment
- Requires light physical effort involving intermittent standing, sitting, or walking while performing duties, and occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds
