This is a Part-time on-site role for a Counter Sales position located in Amityville, NY. The Counter Sales Associate will be responsible for assisting customers with their building material needs, providing product information, processing sales transactions, maintaining inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service. Day-to-day tasks will include handling customer inquiries, restocking shelves, organizing the sales floor, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment.
Must Have Availability M-F 7am - 4:30pm Saturday 9am - 3pm
Saturdays & Mondays are required for this position.
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of building materials, especially mouldings and doors
- Experience in sales and inventory management
- Proficiency in point of sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move products up to 50 lbs
- Preferred-bi-lingual
Pay: $20.00 per hour
