As Regional Sales Manager for the Central US, you will own the full sales cycle for Barfresh branded products across a multi-state territory including Texas, Illinois, Ohio, Minnesota, Missouri, and surrounding states. You will be the face of the brand to distributors, school nutrition directors, and foodservice operators across the region.

This role is ideal for a proven foodservice sales professional who has deep experience in the K-12 segment, existing distributor relationships, and the drive to build a territory with meaningful autonomy.Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales of Barfresh branded frozen beverage and smoothie products to K-12 school districts and broader foodservice accounts across the Central US territory

• Build and grow relationships with K-12 foodservice distributors, broadline distributors, and regional food distribution partners

• Engage directly with Child Nutrition Directors, District Procurement teams, and foodservice operators to secure menu placements, contract approvals, and program commitments

• Develop and execute a territory sales plan with clear account targets, pipeline milestones, and revenue goals

• Manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting and product demonstrations through bid submissions, onboarding, and ongoing account growth

• Represent Barfresh at regional trade shows, K-12 nutrition conferences, foodservice expos, and district tasting events

• Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and provide regular territory updates and market feedback to leadership

• Collaborate with marketing and product teams on school-specific programs, promotional campaigns, and seasonal initiatives


QualificationsRequired

• 3 years of foodservice sales experience, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding territory revenue targets

• Demonstrated experience selling into the K-12 / school nutrition segment — you understand the procurement process, bid cycles, and what Child Nutrition Directors care about

• Existing relationships with K-12 foodservice distributors and/or broadline distributors serving school accounts in the Central US

• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time across a multi-state territory

• Based in Texas (Dallas, Houston, or Austin preferred) or Chicago metro area

• Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to manage long sales cycles and multiple stakeholdersPreferred

• Experience selling frozen, refrigerated, or beverage products in a foodservice environment

• Familiarity with USDA school nutrition guidelines and federal nutrition program requirements (NSLP, SBP)

• Experience working with GPOs (Group Purchasing Organizations) or state-level contract vehicles

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Food Science, or a related field
