Pharmaceutical Technical Manager plays a critical role in building strong customer relationships by supporting both the customer and the commercial team, resulting in making Barentz Always a better solution.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Deliver technical assistance to clients regarding product applications, troubleshooting, and formulation optimization
- Develop and lead technical application discussions with customer technical and operations groups, as well as sales teams using the various technical information tools available
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to divisional customers and build strong relationships
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external use
Training & Education:
- Prepare and present technical information (oral and written) for both internal and external training seminars and workshops and product promotion events
- Partner with sales team to conduct educational sessions at customer facilities
Leadership/ Teamwork
- Collaborate with Barentz principal management (product managers) and sales leadership to support new product introductions and commercialization
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and regulatory teams to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance
- Partner with VP of Sales to manage sales pipeline activity and drive projects to closure with the correct technical solution
Market & Technical Intelligence
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and regulations
- Provide feedback to guide product development and innovation.
- Collaborate with to develop sales tools & marketing collateral (one-pagers, sell sheets, sales support materials, FAB presentations, etc.)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education
- Master’s degree in relevant scientific discipline (i.e., Industrial Pharmacy/Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or other sciences) (required)
- PhD, depending on discipline (preferred)
Experience
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in discipline-specific formulation or technical service with an emphasis in formulation development (required)
- proven experience giving technical presentations and managing customer relationships.
