Avanti Denver is looking for a Host/ID Checker with a positive attitude who can provide excellent customer service for our guests during high-volume shifts on Friday/Saturday nights. You will be in charge of greeting guests, checking IDs upon entry, and explaining our concept upon arrival.
This position requires an energetic person with excellent social skills and a customer-first attitude.
Working Friday/Saturday nights from 9 pm-1 am will be required; availability to work holidays and large events as needed would be a plus!
Compensation
$27 hourly

Originally inspired by European markets and food truck roundups, we are a modern-day food hall. Our locations feature several different restaurant concepts under one roof. Our guests choose which concept they’d like to try, order at the counter or from the QR code at their table, and take a seat in our lounge, dining area, rooftop deck, or two large bars to enjoy their meal.
In addition to our food, we offer a wide variety of inventive craft cocktails, a robust local and specialty beer list, and an approachable wine selection from multiple bars. With an eclectic mix of affordably priced, chef-inspired cuisines under one roof, we’re able to finally answer the age-old question, “Where should we go to eat?”
We are contemporary yet unpretentious, with shared seating to enhance a sense of community. Our guests don’t just visit us for a drink or a meal - they visit us for an experience and the best party in town!

Responsibilities
- Checking IDs of guests upon entry to Avanti on Friday/Saturday nights to ensure safe service.
- Completing a "sweep" of the restaurant at 10 PM to ensure all guests are 21 .
- Greeting guests upon arrival and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintaining the flow of guest entry and exit in the lobby.
- Explaining the concept upon arrival to first-time guests and answering any questions they might have. Directing them to our bars and restaurants.
- Uphold Avanti service standards and maintain composure as a good brand ambassador for Avanti.
- Maintain open and honest communication with the management staff about all issues or potential issues with staff, building maintenance, or service protocols.
- TIPs certification or equivalent for safe service.
- Experience in customer service in a bar or restaurant setting.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work in a high-volume atmosphere
- Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
- Possesses strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality.
