Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and record detailed medical histories
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Performing initial examinations, including physical exams and patient observations
- Develop, implement, and manage patient treatment plans
- Prescribe medications in accordance with state law and supervising physician protocols
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
- Educate and counsel patients on preventive care, health maintenance, and disease management
- Document all patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic health record (EHR) system
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and other care team members
- Operating and maintaining medical equipment
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Active state medical board license (or eligible to obtain)
- Current DEA registration and CPR/BLS certification
- Written and verbal communication skills
