Job Description

Irving Coppell Primary Care Doctors is currently seeking a dedicated, team-oriented Family Practice/Internal Medicine Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our team located in Irving, TX. Irving Coppell Primary Care Doctors is dedicated to delivering high- quality care, comprehensive to our patients of all ages. Previous Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Experience Required.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and record detailed medical histories
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
• Performing initial examinations, including physical exams and patient observations
• Develop, implement, and manage patient treatment plans
• Prescribe medications in accordance with state law and supervising physician protocols
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
• Educate and counsel patients on preventive care, health maintenance, and disease management
• Document all patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic health record (EHR) system
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and other care team members
• Operating and maintaining medical equipment
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Active state medical board license (or eligible to obtain)
• Current DEA registration and CPR/BLS certification
• Written and verbal communication skills
