Responsibilities
- Assist tree climbers and crew members with daily tree-care operations.
- Feed brush and limbs into the wood chipper safely and efficiently.
- Drag, stack, and organize branches, logs, and other debris.
- Assist with tree pruning, removals, trimming, and storm cleanup.
- Set up and maintain safe work zones around job sites.
- Assist with ropes and ground-based rigging as directed.
- Load and unload equipment, tools, and materials.
- Keep work trucks, equipment, and job sites clean and organized.
- Follow all company safety procedures.
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers.
- Perform other ground-crew duties as needed.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work.
- Able to lift, carry, drag, and move branches and other materials.
- Willing to learn professional tree-care techniques and safety procedures.
- Able to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Previous landscaping, tree-care, construction, or outdoor labor experience is a plus.
- Valid driver's license is preferred.
