This is a full-time, on-site Cost Estimator role based in Dallas, TX. The Cost Estimator will be responsible for analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project plans to accurately estimate costs for landscaping projects. Key responsibilities include preparing detailed cost breakdowns, evaluating labor and material needs, assisting with budgeting processes, monitoring project expenses, and providing cost control measures to ensure projects remain within budget. The role requires close collaboration with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure project success.
- Proficiency in Cost Management and Cost Control to manage and oversee project budgets effectively
- Strong Analytical Skills to assess project needs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure accurate estimates
- Experience in Project Estimation and detailed cost planning for landscaping or construction projects
- Proven skills in Budgeting and financial forecasting to support project planning and execution
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders
- Experience in architecture, landscaping, or related industries is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Business, or a related field is preferred
- Proficiency with estimation software and tools is an advantage
