Job Summary
Our Inbound Sales Representatives are key members of our Sales and Marketing team. They play a fundamental role in ensuring delivery of first class, genuine and personalized customer experiences by addressing and supporting the business needs of each customer, and contributing to acquiring and retaining customers and achieving revenue growth objectives. They are motivated to serve new and existing customers and assist in generating additional sales revenue via outbound sales methods.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently handle inbound calls and electronic communications as assigned
- Manage customer and sales inquiries and provide exceptional service and sales support
- Prepare quotes and shipping estimates, arrange sample requests, build proofs, enter and process orders from start to finish, etc. in order management system
- Efficiently manage time to respond to customer inquiries, follow up on quotes and close held orders, and manage outbound calls from assigned calling campaigns
- Multitask by documenting customer requests with accuracy and ensuring detail of any issues while conversing with customers
- Become a product expert to ensure customers are receiving the best recommendations possible
- Promote new products when applicable
- Establish and own a trusted advisor relationship with assigned existing and new incoming customers
- Interact with decision makers, contractors, and administrators to develop customer rapport, ask probing questions to inquire about customer needs, generate interest in our products, and close sales
- Educate and provide customers with our products’ benefits and features, identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and ensure customers are receiving the best recommendations possible
- Address customer questions and concerns and overcome potential roadblocks in the sales cycle
- Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge
- Achieve team goals and monthly quotas
- Utilize selling skills and closing techniques learned from in-house sales training to advance customers through sales funnel and close sales from inbound channels
- Duties and responsibilities are subject to change based on business needs
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
- One or more years of experience in a customer service role
- One or more years of demonstrated success in a sales role
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with accuracy
- Genuine desire to help others, recommend products and solutions, and close sales
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency using MS Word, Excel, Outlook, internet browsers, writing basic business emails
- Demonstrate a positive, customer-centric attitude
- Work well in a team environment and support team members and management
- Data entry skills - alpha/numeric - type at least 40 words per minute, demonstrating speed and accuracy
- Math skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and percentages
- Must be punctual and have good attendance
- Previous experience with a CRM system is a plus
- Proficient computer and phone skills are a must
Pay
This is position has expected OTE (on track earnings) of $50-55k per year

- Please note this is an onsite position at our Batavia, IL, location.
