JOB DESCRIPTION – Safety, Health and Environmental (EHS) Manager
Safety Manager Job Responsibilities:
· Conducts safety meetings, audits, and inspections for employees to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow-up assessments.
· Plans, implements, and conducts preventative care, safety, and compliance training programs.
· Plans, implements, manages, and maintains comprehensive environmental safety & health programs on premises or at project site locations.
· Provide project management teams with guidance on health and safety and confirms project site fulfills industry, local, state, and federal guidelines, and regulations.
· Collaborates with management to develop an Emergency Action Plan and serve as primary contact for project site injury and incident notification, investigation, and case management.
· Ensures work is performed in accordance with OSHA guidelines, approved manuals, internal policies and procedures, contract documents, and good engineering practices.
· Establish OSHA compliant, company safety record keeping policies and maintain log of safety inspection activities, reports, and correspondence in accordance with guidelines.
· Facilitate, support and analyze incident reports, metrics, and injury case studies to institute changes that lead to a safer environment.
· Work with Quality Department to maintain a current library of Standard Operating Procedures and ensure appropriate training is conducted to maintain operational awareness and proficiency
· Ensure environmental permits, compliance are maintained monthly, quarterly and annually.
· Ownership of environmental and sustainability initiatives.

Job Type: Full-time
· Salary: $100,000.00 base salary per year with salary review 90 days after start date

Schedule:
· Peak hours for site: M-F, 7AM – 5 PM with flexibility to all shifts as needed weekday and weekends.
