Maintenance Manager
Job Overview
Barchemy’s Donora, PA location seeks a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance operations of our facilities. The Maintenance Manager drives the efficient operation and functionality of all manufacturing equipment, through leading a team to own the maintenance processes to deliver a highly effective maintenance system. This critical role requires effective team leadership, technical expertise, budget management and excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities - Develop and implement maintenance PM program, procedures and practices to ensure optimal performance of all equipment and systems. - Manage a team of maintenance experts (technicians, buyer, parts, planner), providing guidance, training, and support as needed -Maximize uptime through highly efficient PM’s, audits, planning, execution - Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, PM’s and parts inventory movements. - Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source necessary parts and materials - Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
· Experience with TPM and Lean preferred
· Working knowledge of food manufacturing, GMP’s and personnel safety
· Water and Food Plumbing: boiler, water treatment, copper/stainless/carbon pipes, pumps, valves, p pressures, tanks, mixers and viscosity
· Mechanical and electrical aptitude
· Well versed at problem solving
· Electronic Circuit schematic troubleshooting/ repair of components, circuits
· PLC troubleshooting using program logic (programming not required)
· Electronic creation and building small semi-automated circuits
· Experience with fabrication of food safe polymers and metals
· Experience with electrical motors and identification of premature failure
· Experience with electrical drive programming and drive external inputs
· Working knowledge of electrical sensors set up and troubleshooting
· Ability to identify faulty components and order replacements using component specifications to procure the correct replacement
· Keep and build inventory of spare parts of most common failed parts
· Preventative and predictive maintenance program creation, execution
· Scheduling personnel to complete tasks on weekends or off shift
· Strong organization and team building
· Great communicator and act as a mentor for less experienced technicians
· Manage budget, PO's through our ERP system
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred - Proven experience in facilities management or industrial maintenance - Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including logic controllers - Excellent project management skills, able to prioritize to meet deadlines - Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Type: Full-time, 100% on-site
Pay range: $125,000 - $150,000

Schedule:
· Peak operational hours between 7AM and 5PM
· Monday to Friday, with weekend OT as needed
Salary : $125,000 - $150,000
