Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation standards
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing exceptional customer service that encourages repeat visits
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation procedures throughout the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for order processing and payment handling
- Monitor inventory levels regularly, restocking supplies as needed, and communicate supply needs to management
- Enforce responsible alcohol service policies, checking IDs and managing intoxicated guests responsibly
- Assist in setting up the bar before service hours and closing down procedures at the end of shifts
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a bartender or in a restaurant environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures, food safety management, and alcohol service regulations
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety standards applicable to beverage preparation and bar operations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
