Duties
- Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to deliver goods to various locations following designated routes.
- Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
- Manage route driving responsibilities with precision, adhering to schedules and traffic laws to ensure timely deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries, addressing questions or concerns courteously.
- Support warehouse operations by preparing shipments for dispatch, verifying order accuracy, and completing necessary documentation.
- Pull Orders in the store efficiently to have them ready or an on-time delivery/pick up.
Experience
- Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly desirable, especially with box trucks or similar vehicles.
- Demonstrated ability to load, unload, and move heavy items safely using forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Experience working in a warehouse environment with knowledge of Food Products
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills combined with reliable route driving capabilities to ensure positive client interactions.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly while maintaining safety standards. Embark on a role that energizes your day-to-day work while building essential skills in logistics, driving, and customer service!
MUST HAVES:
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be willing to working beginning at 6am for every shift
- Have the ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to be on your feet for half the day
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
