Field Lube Technician

The Field Lube Technician is responsible for supporting field operations by fueling, servicing, and performing preventive maintenance on heavy machinery. This role requires an organized, safety-conscious individual who works closely with operators, supervisors, and the maintenance team to minimize downtime and keep equipment running efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fuel and service equipment following fueling and spill prevention protocols 


• Performs routine preventive maintenance, including greasing and checking fluid levels


• Conducts daily inspections to identify and report leaks, wear, or safety concerns


• Completes minor repairs (e.g., replacing filters, fixing lights, repairing hoses, tightening components) and escalates major issues to mechanics


• Adhere to all safety standards, including proper PPE use, lockout/tagout procedures, and maintaining a clean work environment


• Utilize the Core Values to promote a positive and professional working environment through peer recognition, support, and clear communication while collaborating effectively with teams


• Lead by example and encourage accountability both up and down the chain of command

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, including lubrication services.


• Knowledge of oils, greases, fluids, and basic preventive care for equipment 


• Competent in reading service manuals, maintenance logs, and work orders


• Must provide and maintain personal tools and field equipment 


• Capable of lifting 50-70 lbs and working in a variety of conditions, including outdoors and under vehicles.


• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and comply with drug and alcohol policies during employment


• Required to have a reliable form of transportation to and from work
