Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Reception Desk Employee to serve as the first point of contact for callers to the bank. This individual will provide excellent customer service by answering incoming calls and directing customers to the appropriate department or staff member.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
- Determine the nature of each call and transfer callers to the appropriate department or employee.
- Take and relay messages when necessary.
- Process and distribute outgoing mail.
- Receive and distribute incoming faxes.
- Perform light bookkeeping and basic clerical duties.
- Assist with filing and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and bank information.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous receptionist, customer service, or office experience preferred but not required.
Schedule:
- Flexible fulltime or parttime hours available.
- Expected hours per week 25 to 40.
Salary:
- Salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications.
