Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full time Wine Seward to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced, semi formal environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for excellent customer service and a strong understanding of food service operations. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
- Accurately input orders into the cash register or point-of-sale system.
- Serve wine efficiently while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to quality standards.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area throughout service.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest inquiries or concerns.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and wine pairings to provide informed recommendations.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or fine dining is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
