Duties

• Receive, unload, and properly store incoming shipments using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
• Stock shelves, displays, and storage areas with products accurately and efficiently
• Conduct inventory control activities including cycle counts and stock audits to maintain accurate inventory records
• Operate RF scanners for tracking inventory movement and updating stock information in the system
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely load and unload of goods
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse or retail space, adhering to safety standards and safe lifting practices
• Support merchandising efforts by organizing product displays and ensuring retail store product knowledge is up-to-date
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting store associates or customers with locating products or answering questions
• Perform manual handling tasks such as packing, wrapping, and preparing items for shipment or storage
• Use communication skills to coordinate with team members on stock levels, product placement, and operational needs

Skills

• Proficiency in using RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse operation equipment
• Strong inventory management skills with experience in stock control systems
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following safe lifting practices
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking and merchandising tasks
• Effective communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for diverse team environments
• Warehouse experience including materials handling, shipping & receiving, and general warehouse operations
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
• Customer service orientation with retail store experience preferred for supporting sales floors or grocery sections
• Knowledge of retail store product placement, merchandising standards, and grocery store operations is advantageous
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
