Receptionist

Overview

Job Summary

Answers incoming call to the clinic. Provides administrative support to the clinic. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the importance of the patient medical record as it relates to documentating patient calls.
• Demonstrates phone etiquette and proficiency while assessing the patients or family members' needs when they call the clinic.

Purpose of Position and Scope of Responsibility Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Education

Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency. Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.

Minimum Experience

3 months of administrative support experience.

Preferred/Desired

One year of general office experience, preferably in a medical environment.

Minimum Required Special Skills

Basic computer literacy. Ability to navigate automated systems. Excellent customer service skills.
