Responsibilities
- Assesses the patient under the direction of the registered nurse.
- Contributes to the plan of care under the direction of the registered nurse.
- Implements the plan of care under the direction of the registered nurse.
- Participates in the evaluation of expected outcomes and goals under the direction of the registered nurse.
- Administers treatments as ordered according to policy and procedures under the direction of the registered nurse.
- Reinforces the health/teaching/education of individuals and groups of patients under the direction of the registered nurse.
- Participates in activities to improve health care delivery under the direction of the registered nurse.
- Builds knowledge and experience base regarding clinical leadership.
- Supports life long learning.
- Completes assigned goals.
Experience
Minimum Required
- Enrolled in an approved nursing program preparing for RN licensure. Completion of one academic year of clinical courses in nursing.
