Credentialing Assistant

🌟 We're Hiring: Provider Credentialing Assistant at Baptist Health Paducah 🌟

Part-time: 30 hours/week

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting healthcare professionals? Join our team as a Provider Credentialing Assistant and play a vital role in integrating our hospital and physician network into the PHO. You’ll serve as a key liaison between physicians, office staff, and payors—ensuring smooth credentialing processes and strong provider relations.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of credentialing and re-credentialing processes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider files and participation records.
• Assist the PHP Coordinator with monthly payor updates and delegated credentialing audits.
• Draft annual audit documentation for review.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between payors and PHO member offices.

🎓 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Healthcare Administration, Business or a related field.
• OR
• Five (5) years of relevant experience in healthcare management, credentialing, managed care, or physician relations with strong communication and analytical skills.

✅ Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with delegated credentialing and payor audits.
• 1–2 years in medical staff credentialing or healthcare administrative support.
• Familiarity with provider enrollment, credentialing standards, and insurance payor processes.
• Experience with CAQH.
