Credentialing Assistant

Job Description: The Provider Credentialling Assistant is responsible for assisting the PHP Coordinator in the integration of the hospital and associated physician network in the PHO. The position serves as liaison between the physicians, their office staff, and various Payors. All the functions performed in accordance with the overall mission, values and strategic plan of the Physician Hospital Organization (PHO). Essential Duties: Performs all aspects of the Credentialing and re-credentialing process and solicits pertinent information for committee review Maintain individual physician/provider permanent file and record of decisions regarding participation Assist PHP Coordinator in monthly task with payor update Responsible for draft version of annual delegated credentialing network/payor audits for PHP Coordinator review Maintain provider relations Serve as the point of contact for all communication between a Payor and the individual physician offices that are members of the PHO.
