Clinical Informatics Analyst Registered Nurse
32 Hours Weekly, Full Time, Dayshift
The CIT RN is responsible for coordination, implementation, and evaluation of Clinical Information System for Surgical Services. Acts as a consultant, change agent, facilitator, and liaison for staff of the Main OR and to the facility at large. Works variable hours to meet the needs of the various departments and shifts. Supports organizational goals.
The Analyst develops, implements, and evaluates interdisciplinary IT education to improve staff performance and professional growth. Plans and supports clinical information system needs using effective problem-solving approaches. Maintains unit clinical informatics systems with IT support and serves as a resource for staff and the organization. Works collaboratively as a team member, assists with new employee orientation, and supports project implementation including workflow analysis, testing, training, go-live activities, and ongoing support.
Requirements:
Graduate of an approved School of Nursing with a current KY license as a registered nurse.
BSN required
Masters in nursing or related health field preferred.
Two years of computer/information system experience preferred.
Perioperative experience strongly preferred.
