Summary
Job Description:
Sitter - Float Pool
Full-Time 7a - 7p
The Sitter performs designated/delegated tasks in the provision of care for patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Duties include close watch assignments for high risk psychiatric, suicidal or potentially violent patients.
Requirements:
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required, or higher.
Mandatory nonviolent crisis prevention training to be completed prior to end of orientation period and maintained annually.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous Nursing Assistant training or Emergency Medical Technician training is preferred.
