Summary: The RN - Transfusion shall be responsible to provide direct and indirect patient care. This individual will be responsible for a variety of nursing functions although they may specialize in one particular area. The RN is responsible for basic nursing assessment, medication administration and side effect management, patient education, EMR documentation, and care coordination in accordance with provider orders and treatment protocols. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.
Education/Experience
Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor’s degree preferred. At least 1-year critical care or oncology experience.
Licensure/Certification
Active RN licensure required, BLS required, Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, Chemo, TNCC, etc.) may be required upon area assigned
