Summary: The Rehabilitation Aide shall work under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist and/or licensed Therapist Assistant. This individual will assist with daily practice of Rehabilitation Services under the direct supervision of the licensed therapists in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role. Education / Experience: High school graduate or equivalent required. Actively pursuing a degree in the Rehabilitation Services field preferred. Satisfactory completion of Rehab Services orientation. License / Certification: BLS required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
There is occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
There is frequent reaching, use of hands and repetitive action.
Requires occasional lifting 75 lbs., and pushing, pulling 100 lbs..
frequent use of hand, fine motor dexterity, and repetitive action, frequent use of large muscle groups.
There is a continuous need for speaking with clear diction and hearing sensitivity in conversation either by phone or in person.
Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range.
Inside protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Minimal noise levels.
