What it’s like to work in Payroll-HR here:
Expectations are clear and support is always there. You'll have defined goals, regular check-ins with your manager, and the structure to do your best work. You won't be figuring things out alone — but you will be trusted to own your work.
We do the work. Over the past year we've been deeply focused on improving payroll processes and building consistency across a growing, multi-site organization. That foundation is in place, and this role is part of continuing to strengthen it.
Accuracy here matters. Behind every payroll run are clinicians, counselors, and support staff showing up every day to care for people in some of the hardest moments of their lives. Getting their pay right, on time, every time. That's not administrative work, it’s mission critical.
We're building something better. We're not here to maintain the status quo. We're defining how payroll and HR operate at scale — building the Banyan Way — and this role has a direct hand in shaping that.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute biweekly payroll across a multi-site, multi-state footprint, maintaining compliance with varying state wage and hour laws and company policy.
- Accurately calculate and validate overtime, employee deductions, and bonus payments in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements.
- Process and reconcile deductions for health insurance, 401(k) contributions, and court-ordered wage garnishments.
- Own the identification and resolution of payroll discrepancies end-to-end, maintaining clear documentation of issues and corrections to support audits and reporting.
