HR Coordinator
Full-time | Reports to Sr HR Manager | Monday – Friday · 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM · On-site 5 days/week · Pompano Beach, FL

Key Responsibilities
- Support employee relations matters — coaching and conflict resolution — partnering closely with the Sr HR Manager, who leads or guides investigations
- Support HR leadership initiatives across the employee lifecycle, from hire through development and retention
- Process promotions, transfers, and related HRIS transactions, including internal offer letters and new job documentation
- Support backend compliance tracking in partnership with onsite Office Coordinators and Executive Directors — CEU tracking, 30/60/90-day and annual reviews
- Input and maintain new hire information in state-required portals per state and facility licensing requirements, including additions and removals for hires and terminations
- Help maintain accurate, audit-ready employee files on an ongoing basis
- Assist with preparation for state and accreditation body audits under HR Manager direction
- Serve as a first point of contact for employees on benefits and eligibility questions (benefits administration and enrollment are owned by the Benefits team)
- Support leave program administration (FMLA, ADA, STD, LOA), escalating complex cases to the Sr HR Manager
- Partner with the Payroll team to ensure employee changes are accurately reflected across systems (primary payroll processing is owned by Payroll)
- Help ensure adherence to employment laws across multiple states, with strong audit-ready documentation
Qualifications
Required
- 1–3 years of experience in an HR support, coordination, or generalist-track role
- Exposure to employee relations matters, with willingness to grow into leading investigations under guidance
- Basic working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and multi-state employment compliance, or strong aptitude to learn
- Comfortable owning a full, fluctuating workload without losing accuracy
- Highly organized, responsive, and detail-oriented
- Clear, professional communicator who builds trust with employees and leaders
- A dependable, team-first mindset — someone who follows through and can be counted on
Preferred
- Experience with ADP is a plus
- Experience in healthcare or another highly regulated environment is a plus
