Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, and kitchen coordination to maintain cleanliness and efficiency
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive experience
- Support restaurant operations by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting hosts/hostesses as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with Toast POS
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations accurately
- Experience with food preparation, bussing, and guest relations enhances your fit for this role
