Duties
- Assist with food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies.
- Handle food safety protocols diligently, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely when moving ingredients or equipment..
- Follow safe lifting practices during all manual handling activities to prevent injuries.
- Support banquet or event setups as needed, ensuring guest satisfaction during large gatherings.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly.
Requirements
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and manual handling with safety awareness.
