Location: Emerald Pointe Apartments; Vernon Hills, IL
Schedule: Full-Time; Monday – Friday; weekend availability required; on-call rotation required
Hourly Rate: $29.00 - $30.00, based on experience
Incentives: Quarterly performance-based bonus program; $150/week on-call bonus

Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of hands-on maintenance and supervisory experience in a high-volume setting
- Strong skills in electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and basic carpentry
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing responsibilities independently
- Comfortable using computers, apps, and technology to improve efficiency
- HVAC Certification is a plus
- Required: Availability to provide additional support at our sister property in the region - The Residences at Fountain Square
Banner Property Management is seeking a dependable, hands-on, and customer-focused MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR to help manage the maintenance operations of our multifamily apartment community in Vernon Hills; Emerald Pointe Apartments.
The MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR will work closely with the Property Manager to maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning community. You will take full ownership of day-to-day maintenance tasks, unit turns, preventative maintenance, vendor coordination, and emergency response.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to resident service requests and complete work orders efficiently.
- Perform regular unit inspections and implement preventative maintenance plans.
- Recommend capital improvements and assist with budgeting for repairs and upgrades.
- Coordinate with vendors and oversee contracted work as needed.
- Complete all phases of apartment turnovers (make-readies).
- Maintain curb appeal and perform light grounds keeping duties.
- Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, property staff, and colleagues
- Physical Requirements: Frequent walking, stairs, standing, climbing, crouching, kneeling, and reaching. Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40 pounds.
- Participate in an on-call rotation with our sister property; overtime, weekend, and holiday work may be required – on-call bonus included.
