General Position Scope:
This person will be required to be very knowledgeable of Policy and Regulations. Responsible for reviewing all information necessary for document processing and ensure regulatory, policy and document requirements are complete. This person will primarily be responsible for Complex commercial loans such as Commercial Real Estate and Agricultural Real Estate and Production Loans.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review Pre-Closing loan packages for all regulatory and policy requirements.
- Communicate with Loan Officers/Assistants requesting missing information or documentation.
- Review applications accurately and consistently in a timely manner and request additional work from supervisor, as time allows.
- Ensure that flood and hazard insurance is adequate.
- Ensure that HMDA information is correct.
- Retrieve information for renewals from Synergy.
- Serve as a backup to the QA Specialist I.
- Ensure that all information and appropriate documentation necessary for document processing has been obtained.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Participation in the bank’s High-Performance Connections program.
- Make referrals to the Mortgage Center and Wealth Management
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures, and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act; Fair Lending Act; Regulation E, etc. Complete required compliance training and adhere to the Bank’s standard of conduct.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years’ experience working with loan documents.
- General computer and typing experience with Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Driving, and occasional travel, as needed for business purpose.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Extensive reading as needed.
- Work outside of regular business hours, as deemed necessary.
- Ability to make difficult decisions and handle multiple tasks with daily deadlines.
