Responsibilities
- Deliver prepared food swiftly from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized dining area throughout service.
- Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling beverages, and responding promptly to guest needs.
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including plating or garnishing dishes under supervision.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of menu items, ingredients, and food safety protocols to assist guests effectively.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy and processing when required.
- Uphold cleanliness standards in the dining area, kitchen stations, and service equipment in compliance with health regulations.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards.
- Experience with serving, bussing, or supporting banquet events is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with team members and engage positively with guests.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift trays or supplies, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
